The Asset Management Process

Hamilton Rentals provide a combination of services that when utilised together deliver a quality, comprehensive end of life asset management service.


This range of services includes the following:


  • Site Survey:
  • An accredited engineer establishes what equipment is to be collected and whether there are any challenges that may affect a straightforward collection.

  • Collection:
  • Hamilton Rentals’ professional engineers will ensure that all pre-agreed equipment is palletised, wrapped and then removed from the location in an orderly, secure and efficient way.

  • Full Audit:
  • Once the collection has been delivered to a secure facility, the items will be tagged and entered onto the Hamilton Rental Asset Tracking System.

  • Sorting:
  • Assets are processed to determine whether they can be refurbished, broken down for spares, recycled as waste or destroyed.

  • Data Wiping or Data Destruction:
  • The appropriate method is selected to the customer requirements.

  • Asset Disposal:
  • Hamilton Rentals has a full time sales team focused on achieving best price for the equipment and parts salvaged from this process.

  • Tracking:
  • The online system allows the customer to check all items online as they progress through the Refurbishment and Recycling process.

  • Certification:
  • The provision of all necessary paperwork demonstrating that Hamilton Rentals customers are all compliant with the current legislation relating to waste disposal and data protection.
